You heard it right! With Call of Duty: World at War set to release in just over a month, 51darkk and 51tate will be back along with the Area51 CoD division after a long hiatus. We plan on preordering and becoming a force to be reckoned with like we have in previous CoD titles. The CoD division will mostly be composed of old school CoD players, including some familiar faces that have competed under Area51 before. We are still looking for a few players to solidify our roster who have played CAL-Invite/CEVO-Professional in previous CoD games. Message either Tate or myself in #51 @ irc.gamesurge.net. I will keep the community updated and release more news, including our full roster just before the release. Stay tuned!

Congrats goes out to our sabotage team after they took apart the top seeded divine talent team with superior teamwork and excellent fragging. With a scary first map that went to round 7(and a last second save by Snake to save the map 1 victory)in the most challenged map of the night. The next map was a complete domination by our guys as they raped DT 4-1. All in all this was an amazing night for 51, thank you Sab team for youre devotion to the game and hard work!!!

Area 51 will be facing Divine Talent For the Cal sabotage championship. DT comes into tonights match as the #1 seed with our boys being the #2 seed for the event. Should be a great match, good luck guys!!

Area 51 Sabotage team advances to the finals of the CAL Sab tournament. Well the guys shined tonight as they rocked past the #3 seeded squad - Power Level Over 9000 - with and impressive 4-0, 4-0 win. Starters from our team included eso, ak(self-proclaimed god of sab), w7(wrath), bunz and snake. Good win guys, carry it over to the finals!!

Congrats to de`pain for pulling off a great win in the gamespy arena UT3 1v1 challenge. Depain ripped through the competition to an outstanding record of 22-0 to take home the top prizes. With the victory he landed himself an xbox 360 elite and hdd dvd player. Way to go dp, keep rocking!!!

As of now Area 51 is going to be building our forces to play Age Of Conan which is set to be released 5/22/08. Anyone interested in applying can do so via our AOC forum. Currently the leaders of this squad are de`pain, numb and myself. Our goal is to be a top clan/guild in AOC and we wont settle for less!!! Wish us luck as we take our fps game into the mmo world!!!

Area 51 will be facing a strong Dire Dimentia team led by our ex clanmate dasnaksta for the Gameradius/#UT3TDM Tournament Championship. Welp, wanted to post good news about our hard working and talented UT3 death match scrimmers. They ended up taking 2nd spot in a miniTDM tourney that happened over 2 days. They were heavily favored to win it all, seeded #1 at tourney but had to go through tough matches and fought a solid DBS clan at the end who seemed to just have an answer to our team\\\'s pushes in different maps. End results were very close each time (i.e. see-sawing battles). Nonetheless I feel our guys deserve all the glamor and glory deserving of champs; they definitely work hard to sustain the talent and teamwork against rising teams in UT3. Give it up for the good ol\\\' boys!!! Wewt!!!
